When you purchase a license, your payment and email address are processed by Gumroad. We receive your email address and a unique license key associated with your purchase. This data is used solely for license activation and support purposes.
To enforce license terms and prevent abuse, our backend systems record:

If suspicious activity is detected (such as repeated invalid license attempts or unusual machine changes), a security event log is created. This contains the license key, event type, and timestamp. No personal financial data is included.

License and security data is stored on our backend hosted by Render (render.com) and Supabase (supabase.com), both of which maintain industry-standard security practices. Your vault data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
License records are retained for the duration of your license and for a reasonable period thereafter for fraud prevention purposes. Security event logs are retained for up to 90 days. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove your records within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain information.
