By purchasing, downloading, or using The Vault Co. application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
The Vault Co. is a private, locally-encrypted personal wealth tracking application for Windows. The App allows you to record and track financial assets including cash, Bitcoin, gold, and silver. All data is stored exclusively on your device using AES-256-GCM encryption. No data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Upon purchase of a Founding Member License, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the App on up to two (2) devices simultaneously.

All purchases are processed through Gumroad. Prices are displayed in USD. By completing a purchase you agree to Gumroad's terms of service. Refund requests are handled at our sole discretion. Abuse of refund policies, including repeated purchase and refund cycles, may result in permanent revocation of license access.
Your vault data is encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM encryption. We have no access to your data at any time. You are solely responsible for remembering your PIN. If you lose your PIN, your encrypted data cannot be recovered by us or by any third party. We strongly recommend noting your PIN in a secure location.
The App may receive automatic updates. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time. We may use a version control system to retire unsupported versions of the App with reasonable notice where possible.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from security vulnerabilities. You use the App at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Vault Co. and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of access to your vault arising from your use of the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, or if necessary, binding arbitration.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date at the top of this document will reflect the date of the most recent revision.
